Placing a business in historical context is a unique and effective way of interesting customers. This can range from detailing the historical uses and occupants of a building or how a particular trade has long established roots in an area. This information can feature on websites, promotion material and in-house displays. Examples of the sort of material I produce can be seen below, along with testimonials from some of my clients.
Hotels, pubs and restaurants can boost their business by displaying the historic nature of their premises to customers. The property sector many need to know if any events, such as bomb damage, have compromised the structure of buildings. Local History
Being in a trade with a history in the surrounding area can be used to demonstrate how a business is an integral part of the community. Stories of notable characters, ways of life and the development of an industry are excellent draws in areas which trade on heritage.
