Some customers ask me to produce a family tree or pedigree on their behalf. I can do this using the GEDCOM (GEnealogical Data COMmunication) computer software, and update the tree regularly in the light of ongoing research.

For most people this is a work in progress. Once your research is ready to be turned into a presentation chart to hang on a wall I can either arrange these to be made, or refer you to the people I use who specialise in such presentation material.

Firstly, a GEDCOM can be used by GENEALOGYPRINTERS.COM to print your entire tree on one continuous piece of paper 24 to 40 inches tall and as wide as it needs to be. They can print a full family tree containing every person in your GEDCOM, an ancestor chart, or a descendant chart. Choices are available regarding font and background colours.

With some charts, it is also possible to provide 'wallpaper' backgrounds, a Coat of Arms or even a photo of your choice. You even decide what information to have in the boxes. GENEALOGYPRINTERS.COM can also provide a variety of blank charts for you to complete with your family information, including large format sheets that can show all ancestors of a chosen person for up to eleven generations. For full details, please contact:—

Secondly, NEIL BROMLEY, qualified calligrapher, medieval illuminator, heraldic artist and a member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen can produce a family tree or any other document for you on finest vellum using 23.5 carat gold leaf and gesso. The durability of these materials ensures that these documents will last for a long time to come. Each individual chart is unique and produced with infinite care.

Neil has carried out commissions for Her late Majesty the Queen Mother, their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the College of Arms, the City of London, and many corporate bodies. His work includes honorary addresses, family trees, coats of arms and medieval reproductions, ranging from miniature illustrations to complete manuscript books. The illustration on his web page (King John) is an example of the quality of Neil's work. Detailed estimates can be arranged on request. Please visit Neil's website on:—

Or email him on:—

Please mention me, Gill Blanchard, when you contact either of these people.
